Being at Robbie and Jessica's Wedding = Priceless
You know it is always a special time when one of your best friends get married. But it's really special when it's two of you best friends getting married to each other. Such was the case this weekend. The wedding of Rob Woitas and Jessica Spinks. I've known Robbie since junior high when we played soccer together however we didn't become really good friends until high school. That is because in junior high I went to another school, St. Lukes, and that is where I met Jessica. It always amazes me how fast we became friends. All we had in common was that we shared the same hour long bus ride home, but that was enough. She was one of those friends that would always let me know what she thought, even if it wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear but what I needed to hear. And I'll always cherish that.
It wasn't until after high school that Damien and I helped bring the two together. A night at the pool hall and the start of something special. The rest is history.
The wedding went off without a hitch and was a lot of fun. I'm sure I'll be remembered for my enthusiastic singing of the birdy song since the band wasn't able to play it. I also think I dropped Kyley a couple of times trying a flip on the dance floor...whoops. All in all an amazing weekend!!! But I never want to do that much travel in that short of time span again :-)
Here's to you Robbie and Jessica!
