"I cannot believe that the purpose of life is to be happy. I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be compassionate. It is, above all, to matter: to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you have lived at all"    Leo Rosten

    School is done

Done! 5 years of school done! It's a little surreal. I can't believe all the schooling that i've finished. It really doesn't seem that long ago that I started. But I guess that's how it goes when you have as much fun as I did at school. Was a ton of fun, but it's time to move on. Start the next stage.

    The Iron Ring

Well we all got our Iron Rings on Saturday April 1st. It's an 80year tradition in Canada to symbolize the obligation and humility of an Engineer. It was definitely an honor to receive one. It's worn on the pinkie finger of the working hand, so left for me. Not made out of iron anymore though, stainless steel.
